Values of Discipline & Excellence

At {{ $siteContext->name }}, our core philosophy is summarized in our motto: “Education for Discipline and Excellence.” We believe that self-discipline, respect, and punctuality lay the foundations of future leadership and academic accomplishment.

Students enrolled at Prativa are expected to adhere to our standard code of conduct. It governs discipline, dress codes, phone usage, and class attendance to ensure a peaceful, progressive study environment.

Zero Tolerance

Strict actions, including immediate suspension or expulsion, are taken in cases of drug use, alcohol, group fighting, property vandalism, or driving motorbikes in uniform.

General Discipline Codes

  • Decorum: Irresponsible, impolite, or hostile behavior towards teachers or peers constitutes indiscipline. Serious violations result in immediate expulsion.
  • Banned Substances: Smoking, chewing tobacco, or consuming alcohol is strictly forbidden. Defaulting students face suspension or immediate expulsion.

  • Motorbike Policy: Students are strictly prohibited from riding motorbikes while in the school uniform.
  • Café & Outings: Students must not visit commercial cafes, restaurants, or parties in school uniform.

Grooming & Dress Codes

  • School Uniform: Clean, standard uniforms must be worn. Shirts must be neatly tucked in, and tie-knots maintained properly.
  • Haircut: Boys must maintain a clean crew-cut hairstyle. Hair dyeing or coloring is strictly prohibited.
  • Jewelry & Makeup: Wearing jewels, flashing watches, sunglasses, cosmetics, or eye makeup is not allowed.
  • School Bags: A decent, clean school bag is mandatory. Fancy or heavily customized bags are forbidden.
  • Footwear: Black leather belt and standard black leather shoes are mandatory components of the daily uniform.

Cell Phone Regulations

  • Classroom Ban: Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones onto campus.
  • Violations & Fines: First-time phone retrieval results in a NRs. 500 fine. Subsequent violations result in a 2-day student suspension.
  • Seizure: Re-offending phones will be seized by the administration for the rest of the academic session.
  • Emergencies: In rare cases, phones may be carried after obtaining written permission from the administrative in-charges.

Attendance Regulations

  • 90% Threshold: Students must maintain a minimum of 90% class attendance to be qualified to sit for NEB final evaluations.
  • Sick Leave: Written applications signed by parents or a medical certificate must be submitted for leaves extending past two days.
  • Class Cut Ban: Skipping classes while on school premises will lead to severe disciplinary warnings and immediate parental notifications.
